teiriki さんIt was probably fate that ended Izumi's life. She had been getting seriously ill and getting diseases since her early 30's. It looked like her uterus cancer in 2006 had cured but the 15% chance of recurrence realized. She left the world at the same place she was born. In retrospect, Izumi should have retired much earlier in her career because of those health problems. She didn't have to feed us fans with so much music.
